Development: Omega 3 fatty acid - NRC Capsules is a new effective pharmaceutical formula that has been developed from the fatty acid extract of Scenedesmus obliquus microalgae which are produced free of any pollutants in the Photobioreactor, the only one found in Egypt and the Middle East, by the algal biotechnology group in the National Research Centre. Scientific basis: The fatty acid extract of Scenedesmus obliquus microalgae contains high amounts of unsaturated fatty acids especially omega-3 fatty acids (α-linolenic acid), which lower blood pressure, reduce triglycerides, slow the development of plaque in the arteries, reduce the chance of abnormal heart rhythm, reduce the likelihood of heart attack and stroke, and lessen the chance of sudden cardiac death in people with heart disease. Omega 3 fatty acid - NRC will be available in a glass bottle containing 60 soft gelatin Capsules, each soft gelatin Capsule contains 500 mg of fatty acid extract of Scenedesmus obliquus.
